Terms and Conditions

CREDIT CARD USAGE WILL HAVE UP TO AN ADDITIONAL 3% CONVENIENCE FEE ADDED

By signing this document, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.
1) ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
2) Per Florida Statutes Section 501.025 - "...the buyer has the right to cancel a home solicitation sale until midnight of the third business day on which the buyer signs the agreement. "
3) Contractor will provide a 1-year workmanship warranty.
4) Patio roof systems (composite panels or pan roof) are not assured to be 100% waterproof.
5) Signer must maintain Electrical service at the property. If a generator is required there will be a $200 service charge.
6) Designs may alter due to changes in site conditions and are at the discretion of the contractor.
7) Signer shall be solely responsible for marking electrical, plumbing, pool, irrigation and sewage or sewer lines or septic tank location. If damage occurs to unmarked electrical, plumbing, pool, irrigation and sewage or sewer lines or septic tank location, contractor shall assume no responsibility.
8) Signer shall be responsible for providing all property surveys required for permits and inspections.
9) Contractor is not responsible for the removal of caulking, patching of holes, repairing of any damages exposed or paint removed upon removal of existing aluminum.
10) Signer agrees that in the event it becomes necessary for the contractor to enforce their rights under this agreement, the enforcement shall take place in the county where the improvements of construction were performed. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recovery of all attorney’s fees in connection with the enforcement of said rights and agree to waive all rights to trial by jury on any such claims.
11) Any modification to this Contract after the effective date shall be subject to a Change Order Fee of $295, in accordance with Florida law permitting contractual change order provisions. Such fee shall apply to all amendments, alterations, or additional services requested post-signing.
12) The Customer acknowledges and agrees that failure to abide by the terms of this Contract or applicable law shall result in a non-compliance fee of $400, for which the Customer shall be solely responsible. This fee also applies if the required permit poster is removed, altered, or concealed by the Customer.
13) All payments are due upon completion of work. A late fee of 10% will be applied to any payment not received as agreed. In addition, interest at a rate of 12% per annum, along with applicable administrative costs ($199.95 legal correspondence, USPS, FEDEX, USP plus LABOR, MILEAGE, and other associated cost) may be charged on any outstanding balances.

A 3% credit or debit card convenience fee will be applied to all transactions to cover the cost of processing credit or debit card payments. This fee does not apply to other payment forms such as cash, checks or Zelle.
15) The Customer acknowledges and agrees to pay a lien placement fee of $199.95 (including legal fees). In the event a lien is placed on the Property, the Customer shall be solely and fully responsible for all costs, expenses, and fees associated with the removal of such lien. This includes, without limitation, all future legal fees, court costs, and county or government-related fees necessary to clear and release the lien from the Property.

16) The customer is responsible for providing an up-to-date survey if required by the county to obtain the appropriate permit. If a new survey is needed for the permitting process, we offer a low-cost survey service available for a nominal fee.

17)  During the construction process, West Coast Screening may use heavy machinery to complete the installation. Some lawn areas, sprinkler systems, or other accessories and decorative elements may be damaged. West Coast Screening is not responsible for such damages. However, we maintain a list of trusted subcontractors who can restore your lawn, sprinkler system, and other affected areas.
